Really? Why go back to the old game instead of focusing on the sequel, and what do they even plan to add?
Maybe fix a few bugs. Add a few new scenes, were we thought that something was missing. Sometimes you have a situation where a picture would be nice, instead of a few pixels fucking each other.
I would love if for example a game like Town of Passion, The Artifact or Zombie's Life would get an bugfix update.
(Oh and to the one complaining that this isn't the place, and I'm not allowed to name other games, GFY)

There are a number of things. There are some small outstanding bugs that need to get fixed. Increasing the imagine resolution to match that of Zombie Retreat 2. He also wants to have a better bridge between Zombie Retreat 1 and Zombie Retreat 2. There is also the matter of adding in the bonus scenes for Leslie, Rachel, and Jessie.

Probably you have already the recipe, you have to craft it at your home on the top left corner, next to the Aid Kit

For the mission you need to be in the Halloween event, I did it on the previous update but looking at your screen shot you are not in the right area so you may have to speak to the npc south of your home hub area.....As for the not understanding what was added i'm not sure what you mean as its pretty clear.
